It was about noon when Chris picked me up at my place. We loaded up the cooler, threw the sound box and my bag in the back and headed toward Towson MD for the Laughing Colors New Years Eve Show at The Recher Theater. We were just 2, minus Jen but thats another story, of the 11 NOVA crew heading for the Ramada Inn. But the NOVA crew were just a few of the Laughing Colors fans converging on the Ramada.

After stopping for sustenance knowing that a full night of partying was ahead of us we arrived to me Steve, Chris and Kathy in the parking lot. We all threw our stuff in one room and the cooler and sound box into the other. A short trip over to the liquor store, conveniently located across the street, and we were prepared. Two coolers full of beer, a bottle of Jack and a bottle of Wild Turkey, champagne, mixers, and a bottle of some kind of red stuff.

The sound box pumping out Laughing Colors tunes, converstation and alcohol flowing, group drinking games, ... the party was under way. There was still a good four hours to go and you know what happens when you mix the two. How many people can you fit in a mini van?
